About the Library

The library is the heart of the Institute, Teaching and learning systems are supported by the library through reading materials. The Shikshan Prasarak Santa’s, Shri. Omkarnath Malpani Law College Library was established in the year 1998 and its collection has been growing extensively since then. The well-stocked Library is considered an asset to the college. To support the institute's mission, the library aims to facilitate the creation of new knowledge through the acquisition, organization and dissemination of legal information resources and provides value-added services. It also aims to build an exhaustive collection of electronic legal information. The library housekeeping activities are computerized using VRIDDHI software. It also aims to build a thorough collection of electronic legal information

 The OMLC Library has a collection of Law Books, Periodicals, Bound Volumes of Law Journals, and also Rare Books. Apart from the law books, the Law College buys several knowledge-based books and periodicals to enrich the student's knowledge. Some of the books were donated by our Trustees and ex. Students some of the books are related to Law and other books are for the enrichment of social knowledge. The Law College allows the Alumni members and academicians to make use of these books in the Library.

LIBRARY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (LMS)

The library is automated by VRIDDHI software. It is a user-friendly software developed to work in a client-server environment. VRIDDHI provides Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC) / WEB OPAC facility that enables users to search the library’s collection and guides them to a precise location. All work-related issues and return has been computerized. All books are bar-coded.
